Alright I am very big into backpacking and and camping for 4-5 nighters. I am in the market for a new sleeping bag. I dont really want to spend over $200.00 on it but I want a really lightweight bag that is rated down to 20 degrees F. I would prefer a down sleeping bag that can be stuffed very small.

We’re going to make our own hiking packs and sleeping bags. Where would I find goose down to fill the bags with?

Trying to find a real sleeping bag made of silk, NOT a silk liner or sleep bag

I want to get a down-filled bag. I hear that they take a long time to dry but I thought that wet down clumped irreversibly and was, therefore, no longer usable. I don’t mind it taking a long time to dry (ideally not getting wet in the first place) but I DO mind irreversible clumping. Any insights into this???
Great input from everyone! Thank you all.
